In the gospel stories, Jesus and his friends ascend a mountain, and two come to him from the past, Jesus blazes brilliant white showing his true form, Holy Love incarnate:

See the source image
16For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” 18We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.-2 Peter 1:16-18

Brilliance and brightness, that probably brought heat. It is the metaphor I have adopted for times of change, and renewal after times away. Note in the story what did the voice point out? The son whom I love. Think of that, the Holy Mystery and Holy Love coming together to remove any barriers.

In this time of C-tine, we are forced into our own mountain ascent. We can remain lost in the shadows or use this time for contemplation, discernment, healing and soul work to move forward within our calling into Holy Love Lives within, through, and through out us. Biologically speaking, c-tine is our time of transfiguration, to burn of the soul sludge that is holding our world collectively back, it has brought a fever into the system. Fevers are fought by the body heating up and literally burning it out (okay I know the science may not be fully that, and there’s more moving parts but it is an allegory folks, work with me).

How do I know we are on the cusp of the Fever transfiguring us?

The time away has raised the voice of the voiceless- black lives matter, persons with disabilities, women, those in poverty, those working for bare minimum poverty wages, our seniors in long term care, Indigenous, BIPOC, Fascisms, hopefully, last gasps, anti-vaxxers/anti-science wonks being revealed as farce, the true hatred in the world on display in all its viralness….

And there is clapback.

Protest.

The virus does not spread.

Rather it is the gatehrings that are ignoring care for neighbour and self were growth is being seen.

Sadly, it is also in those disenfranchised communities… Will we step up to aid? In the colonies and reserves in Canada will we be the neighbour we are called to be?

And lest we forget… during the pandemic that has laid bear our systematic sins for the world to see, and hear the call to forgiveness– that is not forgetting, that is not accepting, that is stepping into transfiguration and leaving behind to be fully who we are called to be.

For being confronted with this pain, do you now fully understand the pain/trauma that has created the parallel and ongoing (whether your government chooses to acknowledge their humanity or not) of the opioid epidemic that is still claiming lives?

Our world, has a fever, we have a choice in how we treat it…

Do we succumb

or

Fight into the new?

Will Love win?

The canonical gospels and Acts of the Apostles shows the quick declaration of belief. It is a declaration that comes quickly for those who do not see themselves as complete. For those seeking value, and being seen as a complete human being, citizens wanting to embrace their inherent worth and not be trapped in caste by labels of religiousity, socio-econimics, culture or race to name but a few. The Epistles are like the Prophets and Wisdom literature of the Hebrew Bible, they shake out the nuts and bolts of the new life recovery journey. One of the key pieces in either harm reduction or abstinence approaches that is missed, is the social transformation that needs to happen. That is the way one lives, and those that are within their social circle changes to keep up the new healthier lifestyle. This is the work found within the Corinthian correspondence (1 Corinthians 2:1-5).

Paul opens up the conversation reminding of the journey’s beginning, and that they have tools at their disposal for the life challenges ahead. That is the grief cycles they will enter into, even if the life had not been affirming of their inherent self-worth, it would still be missed as the change takes one out of the normal:

Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But, as it is written,

“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,
nor the heart of man imagined,
what God has prepared for those who love him”—

10 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.13 And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.[d]

14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 15 The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. 16 “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

-1 Corinthians 2:6-16 (English Standard Version)

Some would call this intangible wisdom the Akashic Records; some as we have seen in Alienbrews believe it is extra-terrestrial; or other understandings of the Holy Spirit (ghost, breath, cosmic dust, within the Holy Mystery and Holy Mystery within you). It is about the journey of wholeness. That is the wisdom that one ties themselves to, allows for the soul work to understand how and why you were created. What is the grander purpose of your being? This is the ongoing soul work of the life, once you have acknowledged the Holy that exists within, and denied the soul sludge that kept the light hidden.

It is this search you need to hold to as you enter into the exploration of the divisions in the church. Human divisions that are seen in many organizations (1 Corinthians 3), such as in academia we are this faculty or that, in religion this denomination or that, this career or that, within organizations and institutions this department or this level of hierarchy; all of them false divisions and ones that Paul was pointing out as folly as stating if they were of Apollos or Paul. The true wisdom is knowing to set aside the labels, and the positional leadership or prestige. It is entering into the journey of growth and discovery, like an infant to a toddler, moving from formula to solid food, and the slow addition of solid foods so one’s system can figure out likes and dislikes, tastes, digestions and allergies.

It is taking the emerging soul work on the grief journey and understanding it transcends outward labels to the most important inward labels of the transcendent Holy Mystery of Love (God); that it intertwines one’s love of self and neighbour. Once this becomes centered the petty squabbles begin to evaporate for the ego is removed, and the living falsity of only desiring money and power is gone.

This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

-Epistle of 1 Corinthians 4:1-5 (English Standard Version)

Soul Work. Some call it spiritual direction or life coaching or therapy. Perhaps all three, that bring daily practice into our lives that allows us to hear the still small quiet voice within. The Holy Mystery’s voice of guidance to true identity; as Paul writes to Corinth- purpose of the heart (1 Corinthians 4:6-21).

How different would our communities be if we truly knew our heart purpose?

And lived it?

We create rules, labels things that separate. Create false divisions. It gives us something to focus on to believe that we are better than someone else. The falsity of the system. It is what Paul was attempting to get at. An unwillingness to grow in understanding. To journey out of a pre-adolescent black and white understanding of life. Brother Jesus was not the first to challenge this, but could be the most recorded and twisted since his vocational mission. He lived, taught and served to force puberty upon the world for lack of a better analogy. That moment when one begins to realize there is gray. It is not as clear cut, and if nurtured in the critical understanding one can grow into young adulthood functioning to see the world in its unity, not living in a divisive caste system that economies, governments, and religions have created.

For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

Look: I, Paul, say to you that if you accept circumcision, Christ will be of no advantage to you. I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is obligated to keep the whole law. You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified[a] by the law; you have fallen away from grace. For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.

-Epistle of Galatians 5:1-6 (English Standard Version)

I remember starting out in ministry and reading Phil Jackson’s leadership books. It may seem weird but I was a huge L.A. Lakers fan (sadly, Bryant ruined that) and he was the best coach (I also spent many years of my youth shooting hoops even made a record, sure it was most consecutive fouls in games over seasons 5 years running without being fouled out, but a record is a record). In his writing he spoke of aiding players in becoming better, tapping into their strengths, their unknown qualities, aiding them in denying what was false. Sounds metaphysical and spiritual. The Zen roots of Jackson’s practice also aided him in realizing that players who had succumbed to negativity had to be separated.

You were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion is not from him who calls you. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. 10 I have confidence in the Lord that you will take no other view, and the one who is troubling you will bear the penalty, whoever he is. 11 But if I, brothers,[b] still preach[c] circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been removed. 12 I wish those who unsettle you would emasculate themselves!

-Epistle of Galatians 5:7-12 (English Standard Version)

A little bit of negativity spreads faster than any positive. Once settled in it takes longer to cut out. Like a fast spreading cancer. Anyone who has ever been apart of a change that bulldogged its way through. Used subterfuge or false information to bond members with. Or created an us-them mentality in moving forward. Bonding on hate or fear or the false idea of positive change but the journey is twisted, corrupt, filled with pain, bullying, ostracizing others, relegating individuals to nothing more than labels, codings, diagnosis, charges for that is what stated they “need” in life. A need that could be nothing more than supports to thrive, but the push to live into these labels and force constant grieving on an individual or family for not being usual or typical in what the dominant world deems as compliant. Falling in lockstep with the oppressive system.

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another.

-Epistle of Galatians 5:13-15 (English Standard Version)

What happens when the cancer settles in? Eventually any movement devours itself. We see that currently as hate, fear, power controls, and love of money can only carry things and cover things up so far before they collapse. Paul is bringing a word of caution for Empire living. For those that are being left out because they are different, and no one knows what to do with them.

The core.

Seeing the Imageo Dei in self and neighbour.

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, 21 envy,[d] drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do[e] such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

-Epistle of Galatians 5:16-26 (English Standard Version)

Too many read the words in Galatians and have created a false dichotomy between flesh and spirit. This has led to ideas that what one does in the world does not matter, as long as they keep to spiritual “truth” or work for what is “best for the religious”. Centres on fear, hate, knowing that forgiveness is easy to come by and truly do we need to change our world if we repent at the right moments, say the right words, practice the right ritual?

The list of what is seen as wrong some will point out as legalism, yet what it speaks of is the moments in the Empire that re-enforce the Caste. It allows for citizens to do as they please, not all participants are willing or have a choice (the rampant rape and pedophilia of Rome). The fact that participation even voluntarily creates a dichotomy of control and debt. What surrenders into them is the seeking for belonging.

A powerful word. Belonging. We have known for ever what causes crime, terrorism, leads to addiction. There are root causes of trauma and pain, poverty…but what ends gangs and extremists? Hate groups?

Belonging.

The true FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. A community where there is no more labels of division, but everyone is supported, embraced, loved, has meaningful activity, and…

BELONGS.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

-Epistle of Galatians 5:22 (English Standard Version)

Hell is a garbage dump outside of the city gates, or at least the description of it is as noted in the Gospels. Our concepts of the hooven devil comes from art and culture, Milton’s Paradise Lost and Dante’s Divine Comedy. Within the Divine Comedy is the idea of Purgatory- or limbo. The idea of a storehouse for the dead awaiting judgment or paradise. It is a concept that has been used to control, to build coffers and triggered wars for state lands.

But what is the concept? Pseudo-Peter outlines it in his last chapter, but it does not sound so much as a place as a point in a journey:

This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, that you should remember the predictions of the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles, knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you,[a] not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies[b]will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.[c]

11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, 12 waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! 13 But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

-Epistle of 2 Peter 3:1-13 (English Standard Version)

The moments in time, they may be long, they may be instantaneous, when the sludge of the soul, the muck of life. The gray and shadow that keep you from the light– are burned away. For in John Mark’s rendering of Peter’s view of the Gospel, in Gospel of Mark it was Jesus that told us the Kingdom was near and it was up to us to bring it here. Now many have viewed it as an apocalyptic war scenario with persecutions, etc.

BUT, what if…it’s not. What if it is literally about personal and communal transformation within hope, joy, peace, faith and love?

And, even though it has been misused, the concept of purgatory or purge, is the facilitating of healing and wholeness to where those things that keep you from the gifts are finally removed. Yes, it may be ongoing, because as the old song says, that’s life. Yet, in the pilgrimage, each time something new is revealed.

To the core:

14 Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. 15 And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, 16 as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. 17 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability.18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

-Epistle of 2 Peter 3:14-18 (ESV)

The Gospel was a political and spiritual declaration of people and their interactions with the Holy Mystery.

What would your Gospel say?

The letters of the Petrine Christianities centered on living the authentic you are created to be. It is about authentic loving community.

What would your epistle say to the communities you are apart of?

For the pilgrimage to the heart of the sacred is a winding path with but one destination. LOVE. It is a destination that matters. Along the way the gunk (sin, ego, shadow, sludge) that keeps you separated from self, neighbour, and divinity, will be purged away- that is your soul work. The goal is simple:

BECOME WHO YOU ARE MEANT TO BE IN THIS MOMENT.

Let your new chapter open…

Entering into the closing letters of the first epistle to the young leaders in Ephesus. The writer continues to speak to the gathering about expectations within. It is a moment of coaching to try and avoid more carnage, and pain, but what does it mean for us today?

Let all who are under a yoke as bond-servants[a] regard their own masters as worthy of all honor, so that the name of God and the teaching may not be reviled. Those who have believing masters must not be disrespectful on the ground that they are brothers; rather they must serve all the better since those who benefit by their good service are believers and beloved.

-Epistle of 1 Timothy 6:1-2 (English Standard Version)

A bond-servant is basically a save. Paying off a debt, they are kept by the family until the bond is paid. In many ways it is part of the ancient world caste system. Essentially, it is asking those to still honour those that do harm. Why? First is preservation of life and livelihood, yet it touches on what treating with honour means? It is not blindly following, and enduring abuse. It is living a life that is without reproach, it is deeper than that. It is the caution to ensure that when the time comes to speak out against the system, that you are able to do so from a place of earned leadership and power based on character and integrity.

I sit and write. It is a way to grow inwards and outwards. It can be a challenge on some days, or times of day. Yet, it is a practice that aids in my healing. It is also to show that our lives and experiences, with our learned knowledge when applied to the text before us becomes heart wisdom- soul work. It is within this work, that each time you come to the sacred text of your life and community that new things come forward, new ways of seeing and hearing, and new ways of living.

Teach and urge these things. If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound[b] words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain. But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and[c] we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

-1 Timothy 6:2-10 (ESV)

What is contentment? Being at one within the Holy Mystery (divine-self-neighbour). It is knowing and applying wisdom of Holy Love in life. It is not being lost in low self-confidence or self-worth where you constantly battle for title, esteem, worth based on money or title. Amassing knowledge as a weapon without application. Amassing accolades when the fruit is destructive and harmful. For to not be living the authentic you, but constantly seeking external validation can lead down a dark spiral. It is within the dark spiral that harm comes to self and others. Where abuse and bullying germinate. Trickles throughout the gathering like an insidious infestation of stink weed that will not go away or bed bugs swarming a tenement building.

The root of evil is the infestation that cannot be killed because no one is willing to do the work to root out the zero point of contagion.

But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 13 I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in his testimony before[d] Pontius Pilate made the good confession, 14 to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 which he will display at the proper time—he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.

17 As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. 18 They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, 19 thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.

20 O Timothy, guard the deposit entrusted to you. Avoid the irreverent babble and contradictions of what is falsely called “knowledge,” 21 for by professing it some have swerved from the faith.

Grace be with you.[e]

-1 Timothy 6:11-21 (ESV)

One of the main reasons folks seek out my coaching or spiritual direction is due to unhealthy situations. It is situations where they are in a moral bind. Whether to remain silent, and let things continue on as they always have. For one knows when you pull the thread on immoral and unethical behaviours in organizations it is not a fun time. It creates stress for you as the whistle blower. One works to move the organization beyond the personality conflict that can so easily be used as a cover up to the actual issue at hand. This is the application of knowledge when the community leadership can see beyond the manipulations of the toxic one. The patient zero, and see what the issue is. See if the patient zero is willing to enter into a time of Sabbath (Sabbatical) for healing, learning, growing and renewal or if they need to be pruned. With the pruning the new life that is born is carefully cultivated to avoid the poison that existed before.

This is where Pseudo-Paul taps into Brother Jesus as presented in the Canonical Gospels that led to his lynching. It shows that conscience to whether the storm and stand firm in the truth of what is to happen for true contentment. In that true contentment the world is made right. It is also a reminder to the ones that follow in taking the firm stand against the toxic, that there is a price to be paid, and as such you need to plan your own self-care/healing for during and after.

This is the challenge of leadership.

It is the life of a transfigured you.

The hardest part of any change within is being present during it. For good or ill, the journey always has more points of discovery than when the destination is finally reached. But also in the journey one needs to realize when they have reached a point of a new journey beginning. Jesus opened up about the internal transformation, and how the ripples would affect the community.

13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how can its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything, but is thrown out and trampled under foot.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. 15 No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

-Matthew 5:13-16 (NRSV)

Salt? What a complex thing to be compared to as a change agent. Complex how you say? It is about being a flavouring in the world. It speaks of salt of the earth. Creation. Being in the here and now. Salt has been used in at least 3 ways:

  • Preserve for meats (protein, needed sustenance)
  • To bring flavour out of foods.
  • Agent of destruction. Yes, you read that right. When an invading army had completed the burning down, proving their “god” was more powerful. The men all killed, children enslaved, women raped to eliminate the last vestiges of the previous people. Crops burned. Then the ground was salted so nothing could grow.

What does this mean to your own journey of self transfiguration? What are pieces of you that need to be preserved? Other pieces that need some flavouring (care and cultivation)? And pieces that just need that destruction (wiped out/healed of/moved on from)? The salt metaphor is for your journey, it is about you and the salt that is to be lived into. Then taken out into your community in love of neighbour. Personal transfiguration to communal transformation.

Are you feeling salty today?

The three-fold use of salt removes the muck that hides your true self. Transfigured and continuing to transform your light begins to shine. People notice, wonder why the change. Will you share what it feels like to take self-care seriously? To embrace your true worth? To stop listening to the exterior that has become interior monologue? Do not accept abuse. You are worthy. You are salty and that will continue to transform the good, and destroy the…well destructive crops planted long ago and today to stop you from being you.

17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter,[c] not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore, whoever breaks[d] one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

-Matthew 5:17-20

crossanIt is rather simple. We tried for centuries, millennia even (up to this point in history how long had Homo Sapiens walked the earth?). All the ancient stories had pointed to this self-worth, love of neighbour by embracing the whole self (spiritual and physical). Not living in hate or our of fear, but in a more offensive four letter word:

L-O-V-E.

We used all the teachings to create a caste system of oppression, hatred and violence that is still perpetuated today.

That is the system being smashed. The Love thread is what is to be fulfilled.

The question is:

What will you do to let your saltiness shine outwards in Love?

Read Aquarian Gospel 129 here.

Transfiguration. It is one of those unique stories that some have alluded to, almost like Clark Kent changing into Superman. But then that removes the mystical aspect. For it is a transformation.

Perhaps there is more for us to uncover than simply changing clothes.

What if it was more akin to when the Incredible Hulk becomes Bruce Banner. When the ego run rampant, that which separates us from the Holy Mystery is stripped away to truly live into our vocational calling of brilliance. For, the Hulk was the protector. In life coaching, we coin the term saboteur or gremlin. That which allows us to survive in life, but holds us back from truly thriving. It is once we have released the monster truly from our being, and lived into our true self that we are at peace, content, whole in Holy Love…

Transfigured.

Like Brother Jesus:

  1. And as he prayed a brilliant light appeared; his form became as radiant as a precious stone;
    13. His face shone like the sun; his garments seemed as white as snow; the son of man became the son of God.
    14. He was transfigured that the men of earth might see the possibilities of man.

-129:12-14

Peter, James and John play the role of showing what has allowed survival…but the next step into thriving they show letting go of the past in the manifestations of Moses and Elijah to live into the Cosmic Christ.

First acknowledge and give voice to that holding you back.

Draw it out.

Prepare your self for release.

Thank the Gremlin for allowing you to survive up until now, while acknowledging it is time to move forward in your new life.

Destroy/discard the image when truly ready to step out of the past, this is the monument left on the mountain.

  1. The veil that separates the worlds is but an ether veil. For those who purify their hearts by faith the veil is rolled aside, and they can see and know that death is an illusive thing.

                        –129:19

For the old must die, for the new to be born, like a fire releasing the seed of life within the pine cone.

  1. And all symbolic of the path that every man must tread; symbolic of the way the sons of men become the sons of God.

                        –129:24

The symbolism of release, the stepping into your new reality connecting with the Cosmic Christ-Holy Mystery within. Letting your love light shine brightly within your own transfiguration. Each moment of each day.

The question is, are you willing to leave the gremlins on the mountain top and descend with the Holy Mystery into true life?
