‘Draconian’ anti-terrorism laws not needed, opposition says – Canada – CBC News.

Just when we believed Mr. Harper may have entered reality, a new debate over old laws that made no difference anyways. The only thing these measures do are ensure division within a nation and create a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I side with Rae, yes we have to worry about those who want to bring our nation down, but these measures and labelling a select portion of society as that is not the way of doing it.

Here’s hoping in 2015 we achieve a government for the people, after our constitution says A nation under God, it also promises that we shall have a nation based on 3 core values: Peace, Order and Good Governance. These laws break all 3 of those core values.
